What is the process?
All of Shavano Sportswear’s uniforms are completely custom. We do not have set designs or patterns that limit your creativity. You get exactly what you want. You can choose from different fabrics, colors and even production processes. We can create uniforms that are completely sewn and embroidered (our specialty) or we can sew and print uniforms and we can even dye sublimate uniforms with any design you like. The process breaks down into the following steps:
- You send us a design you are interested in. This can be a photo or even a hand sketch. You can even send us design elements from different uniforms you like.
- Once we get your design, our graphics team draws up the uniform.
- After the initial design, we email you our draft and we work with you until it is exactly what you want.
- Once the design is finalized, we confirm fabrics and colors. We utilize Pantone© colors to make sure it is an exact match. We also get sizes and numbers confirmed at this stage.
- To be sure expectations are met, we usually send the final design to the factory for pricing and delivery estimates at this stage.
- Once all the details are finalized, we request a 50% deposit to begin production.
- After the deposit is received, we send the order to the factory.
- When the factory notifies us that the order is ready to ship to our offices, we request the final payment.
- The factory sends the order to our office for final quality inspection.
- Once we inspect the order and make sure it is correct, we ship the order to you.
How long does it take to get the uniforms?
Several factors go into how long it takes to produce the uniforms. Those factors include: complexity of design, production technique, factory backlog and time of year. Fully sewn uniforms take the longest and can be from 5 – 6 week from the time the order is placed with the factory, step 7 above. Dye sublimated uniforms are the fastest and we can usually produce those in about 2 weeks. We always try and give the most accurate estimate of delivery prior to taking a deposit. It is always best to leave as much time as possible to get the highest quality uniforms.
How much do the uniforms cost?
While we don’t have a price list as everything is custom, for budgeting purposes a fully sewn reversible set of your design will probably be around $85. For a non-reversible set, home and away, the pricing is $105. Dye sublimated uniforms usually run about $15 more per set. We are able to work with the factory on larger orders. For very small orders, there may be a surcharge due to shipping costs. We always try and ship orders together from the factory to keep our prices low. These prices are all FOB San Antonio so the shipping from our offices to you will be additional depending on where you live and how fast you need them. We only charge the true shipping cost from our offices.
